[US] scrambly scam? advice/help needed

A user was contacted and offered money in exchange for verifying a 'scrambly account.' After clicking a link, the user scanned their ID (front and back) and face. The user's ID is linked to their Discord account and multiple cards (CashApp, Venmo, debit). The user is scared and seeking advice on whether to contact police or freeze credit.
