Jennifer Lackard and her son Chase were arrested in connection with an alleged gang shooting near the Bronx Criminal Court. Lackard, who worked at the Mount Vernon Police Department, was reportedly sorority sisters with Mayor Shawyn Patterson-Howard. The City of Mount Vernon terminated her employment, stating that the allegations are unrelated to her official duties.
