SEE IT: Dem senators rally behind El-Sayed but duck questions on progressive agenda

Senate Democrats are supporting Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan's race against Mike Rogers, despite a primary that exposed the party’s progressive-moderate division. Although some senators expressed confidence in El-Sayed winning, they were hesitant when questioned about his policies, such as abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement or implementing Medicare for all. Mark Warner was the only lawmaker to publicly state disagreement with certain of El-Sayed's progressive policies.
