Man, woman accused of killing Morganton couple over $75K inheritance
Jamar Propst and Tosha Lewis were charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the accused killing of Raheim and Carla Murray in their Morganton home over a $75,000 inheritance. The couple’s human remains were later found off nature trails in Benfield Park. Authorities allege that after the deaths, Propst and Lewis cleaned up the house, moved the bodies in a Buick, and used the victims' phones for money.
