Wayne County must appoint Woodhaven council member after resignations leave City Council without quorum

Due to multiple resignations, including those by Don Belcher, Preston Abadie, Janet Sikes, and J.C. Moczydlowsky, the Woodhaven City Council is unable to form a quorum. As a result of the vacancies, Wayne County officials confirm that Michigan law requires the county board of election commissioners to appoint a council member to restore the quorum.
