Aug. 6: Disturbance over the Bahamas is heading our way

A disturbance over the Bahamas is approaching, increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms over the next few days. While high temperatures will remain near normal around 90 degrees, humidity may make it feel like the lower 100s. Rain chances are predicted to decrease by early next week due to the expected arrival of drier air and Saharan dust.
