After Michigan upset, Aipac looks to back Republican candidate against Abdul El-Sayed
Aipac, after spending over $30m on Haley Stevens in the Michigan Democratic Senate primary, now plans to support the Republican candidate in the November election following Abdul El-Sayed's narrow victory. The race became the most expensive Democratic primary in US history, with El-Sayed defeating Stevens by one percentage point despite heavy spending against him.
