Iran and Oman agree on new Hormuz route, Tehran says
Iran and Oman have agreed on a route for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz and are finalizing arrangements for jointly managing the passage. Iran claims de facto control of the strait since the US and Israel launched a war against the country on February 28. US President Donald Trump has stated Tehran is keen to reopen the route.
