FIT-Based Screening Linked to Drop in Colorectal Cancer Mortality

A retrospective population-based cohort study from Spain found that FIT-based screening is linked to a decline in colorectal cancer mortality from 2004 to 2024. Age-standardized mortality rates decreased during this period, correlating with the implementation of fecal immunochemical test (FIT) screening.
