Romania's navy detonates part of Danube river to cool nuclear plant

Romanian naval forces detonated part of the drought-stricken Danube river to redirect water to a nuclear plant. Low water levels in the Danube, caused by European heatwaves, have severely impacted reactors in Romania and Hungary, with Hungary’s Paks plant operating at 10% capacity.
