Abdul El-Sayed squeaks out win over Haley Stevens in hotly contested Democratic US Senate primary

Abdul El-Sayed won the Democratic U.S. Senate primary in Michigan over Haley Stevens. The Associated Press declared El-Sayed the winner after a close race marked by heavy spending from opponents. Stevens and other Democrats pledged support for the general election against Republican Mike Rogers.
