Senate GOP scrambles for August exit strategy that doesn’t anger Trump

Senate Republicans are seeking an August recess plan that avoids angering President Trump, who insists they remain in Washington to pass a reconciliation blueprint and elements of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE America) Act. Both legislative efforts have little chance of success.
