Congress says E20 hurt middle class, favoured ethanol producers
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh criticized the Modi Government's ethanol blending policy (E20), stating that promised reductions in diesel and petrol prices to Rs. 50 and Rs. 55 per litre, respectively, have not materialised. The policy is accused of harming the middle class while benefiting ethanol producers.
