Hong Kong ship crews stranded in Strait of Hormuz ‘safe and offered counselling’

Crew members on 80 Hong Kong-owned ships stranded in the Strait of Hormuz for five months have sufficient supplies and access to video counselling, according to an industry representative. Kenneth Lam Sze-kin of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association stated the 1,600 seafarers face little immediate danger as long as shipowners continue paying for their support.
