A new ‘Health City’ planned for Oaxaca state is a step toward a Universal Health Service in Mexico
President Sheinbaum laid the cornerstone for a new IMSS hospital in Oaxaca's San Lorenzo Cacaotepec, part of a three-facility complex called 'Health City' aimed at advancing Mexico's Universal Health Service (SUS). The complex includes IMSS, ISSSTE, and IMSS-Bienestar hospitals, with a combined investment of 10 billion pesos and plans to serve 1 million beneficiaries.
