Ghana President Mahama Proposes African Free Trade Area Expansion to Include Caribbean

Ghana President John Dramani Mahama proposed expanding the African Continental Free Trade Area to include the Caribbean when he becomes African Union chair. He cited the AfCFTA as a market of 1.3 billion people with significant economic potential.
