Habitual felon sentenced to a decade in prison for Catawba County shooting

Lashawn 'Shawn' Malcoln Davis, a habitual felon, was sentenced to 10-13 years in prison for a shooting in Catawba County. He pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon.
