Am I getting scammed ?

A user is selling a truck on Facebook Marketplace to a buyer claiming to use USAA and be a retired veteran. The buyer requests $1000 to cover taxes and obtain a cashier's check, but the seller's banker is concerned despite the buyer's seemingly genuine credentials.
