Colombia’s BanRep Buys US$399.9m in First Reserve Auction
Banco de la República approved US$399.9 million of the US$877.5 million offered in its first reserve-accumulation auction. The auction is part of a plan to build up to US$4 billion in international reserves, announced on July 31, 2026, aimed at injecting liquidity into the economy.
