Former Midstate teacher pleads guilty to rape, sentenced to prison

Steven Hirschi, a former teacher at Northeast High School in Clarksville, pleaded guilty to felony statutory rape by an authority figure and was sentenced to nine years in prison. The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System placed him on alternative worksite in May 2025 and later on unpaid administrative leave pending investigations, leading to his termination in March 2026.
