Men charged after alleged armed carjacking of Cadillac Escalade in Grosse Pointe Woods

Two men, Robert Bates and Skylar Carlisle, were charged with carjacking and other felonies after allegedly stealing a Cadillac Escalade at gunpoint in Grosse Pointe Woods. They fled in another vehicle, crashed, and were arrested. The case is part of Michigan's efforts to combat organized vehicle theft.
