Man dies after being shot by Livingston Parish deputy, Louisiana State Police investigating

A Livingston Parish deputy shot and killed 50-year-old John E. Granger III after a pursuit on Interstate 55. Granger fled a traffic stop linked to a criminal investigation, crashed into another vehicle, and engaged deputies in a confrontation involving a Taser before being fatally shot. The deputy sustained minor injuries.
