Astros add center fielder Daulton Varsho from Toronto for righty Spencer Arrighetti

The Houston Astros acquired center fielder Daulton Varsho from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for right-handed starter Spencer Arrighetti. Varsho, a 2024 Gold Glove winner, is expected to strengthen Houston's outfield as they hold a 2 1/2-game lead in the AL West. Arrighetti, currently on the injured list, has a 4.60 ERA in 17 starts this season.
