Lebanon arrests former Palestinian ambassador

Lebanese authorities arrested former Palestinian ambassador Ashraf Dabbour ahead of his extradition to Palestine for corruption charges. He was previously arrested in April at the request of the Palestinian Authority over allegations of corruption and embezzlement during his tenure as envoy from 2012 to 2025.
