Swiss geologist and local miner kidnapped and killed in Central African Republic
A Swiss geologist, Luca Maggini, and a local miner were kidnapped and killed in the Central African Republic near Gbango-Carriere, 55 kilometers north of Bangui. The attack also resulted in the kidnapping of a Central African Army staff sergeant. Maggini worked with ADMOG Gold, an Emirati company operating in the country.
