Emergency army mobilisation extended by Israel for two months

Israel's parliament extended emergency military mobilisation until 30 September, allowing the army to call up to 240,000 reservists. The four-to-two vote in the foreign affairs and defence committee follows similar extensions since the 2023 Gaza conflict.
