Federal grant aids Delaware families in building their own affordable homes in Sussex and Kent counties

A nearly $1 million federal grant will fund the construction of 24 affordable homes in Delaware’s Kent and Sussex counties through Milford Housing Development Corporation’s Self-Help Housing program. The initiative uses 'sweat equity' labor to reduce costs and empower low-income families to build their own homes and those of neighbors.
