SMART, DDOT to offer free rides to polls on Election Day for Metro Detroiters

SMART and DDOT will provide free rides to polling places in Metro Detroit on Primary Election Day, August 4. All SMART services in Oakland, Macomb, Wayne counties, and Detroit city routes will be fare-free from midnight to 11:59 p.m. The initiative aims to ensure voters can access polling locations without transportation barriers.
