Global institutional investors eager to trade Chinese bond futures in Hong Kong, HKEX says
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) will launch offshore China government bond futures for the first time, attracting interest from international asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies. The 5-year contracts have a size of 500,000 yuan and a low minimum margin requirement of 7,980 yuan.
