Eastern Washington fires destroy 600 structures and force 60,000 to evacuate

Wildfires in eastern Washington, particularly around Spokane, destroyed at least 600 structures and forced 60,000 people to evacuate. The fires, part of dozens across the western US, have overwhelmed federal and local agencies, with 390 square miles burned and some fires still uncontained.
