Gruma to Invest US$79m in New Delicias Tortilla Plant
Gruma, through Grupo Industrial Maseca, will invest US$79 million in a new tortilla plant in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico. The facility will occupy five hectares, create about 500 jobs, and produce tortillas, tostadas, and totopos for export to the United States.
