Brazil’s Petrol Now Has 32% Ethanol. The Saving Is Half a US Cent a Litre.
Brazil's mandatory ethanol share in regular petrol increased from 30% to 32% on 1 August 2026, aiming to reduce pump prices by approximately R$0.03 a litre, equivalent to half a US cent per litre.
