Gunman sought after man is shot in the Bronx

A man was shot in the Bronx early on August 2, with the suspect described as a 5-foot-9-inch individual wearing all black. The victim, a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his armpit, was hospitalized in stable condition. NYPD reported a 6.2% increase in shootings and an 11.1% rise in victims in the precinct this year.
