Centre, Andhra Pradesh announce relief package for tobacco farmers
The Centre and Andhra Pradesh have announced a relief package for tobacco farmers, including interest-free loans of ₹50,000 for approximately 45,000 farmers, a state incentive for low-grade tobacco, and assured minimum purchase prices effective from August 3.
