Security forces kill mastermind of Hangu police checkpost attack: sources
Security forces killed Amir Mauviya, the mastermind of the July 30 Hangu police checkpost attack that killed nine police officials. Mauviya, linked to Fitna-al-Khawarij (a state term for Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan), was eliminated during an intelligence-based operation in Chapri Naryab. Operations under Operation 11 Garaj intensified, with increased security personnel deaths reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
