Climate crisis: Hungary closes nuclear power plant, Greece wildfires spread

Hungary is fully shutting down its sole nuclear power plant due to record low levels of the Danube River, straining energy supplies and posing a major economic challenge for new Prime Minister Péter Magyar. The Paks plant's reactors were powered down as low water levels hindered cooling operations.
