Nepal’s famed climber and 9 others die in Pakistan avalanche

Nepali climber Nirmal Purja, known for his record of fastest ascent of the 14 highest mountains, died in an avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan. Nine other expedition members also died in the incident, confirmed by Purja's company Elite Exped.
