Nurses chase Cyclospora using grocery receipts, food apps and detailed interviews

Public health nurses in Washtenaw County, MI, are investigating Cyclospora cases by contacting individuals with cyclosporiasis and tracking their recent food consumption through grocery receipts, food apps, and interviews. Symptoms of the Cyclospora parasite may take up to two weeks to appear after consuming contaminated food.
