Greece fights fires near Athens

Evacuation orders were issued for areas west and northwest of Athens as new wildfires broke out near the Greek capital. Firefighters struggled with high winds hindering aircraft efforts, while other fires in the country were controlled, though the risk of new outbreaks remains high.
