Houthis deny planning to charge ships passing through Red Sea
The Houthis denied reports of planning to impose fees on commercial ships passing through the Bab al-Mandeb strait. A Reuters report had previously suggested the consideration of such fees, but the Houthi-run maritime coordination body clarified that no decision has been made and that passage remains free.
