Godavari, Sabari villages face submergence threat; 32 Konaseema islands affected

Floods caused by the Sabari and Godavari rivers have submerged 189 villages in the Polavaram irrigation project area of Polavaram district. The affected region includes 32 islands in the Konaseema area and the villages of Godavari and Sabari.
