Riverside County man convicted of killing off-duty LAPD officer
A Riverside County man was convicted of shooting and killing an off-duty Los Angeles Police Department officer after the officer told him to stop tagging a sidewalk. Cristian Facundo, 27, of Temecula, was convicted on July 31 and is expected to receive a life sentence without parole.
