Fatima Zahra secured Pakistan’s first medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games with a bronze in women’s 60kg boxing after losing the semifinals to Canada’s Marie-Bathoul Al-Ahmadieh. Arshad Nadeem was eliminated in the javelin final, where Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Pathirage achieved the top throw of 89.75 meters, while India’s Neeraj Chopra finished second with 85.83 meters.
