The first autonomous ice resurfacer in the entire country is in the South Metro

The first autonomous ice resurfacer in the country is now operational at the Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colorado. Developed by GM Technics, the machine is used for maintaining ice quality at a facility that serves the Colorado Avalanche and other hockey teams. It is the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere and costs approximately $100,000.
