Adani to pay no company tax despite $1bn revenue from Queensland coalmine

Indian conglomerate Adani reported a $340.6m loss from its Queensland Carmichael coalmine operations despite generating $963.5m in revenue, allowing it to avoid company tax. The loss was attributed to high production and logistics costs, offsetting the revenue and erasing its tax bill.
