Chinese buyers acquire US soybeans for October-November, traders say
Chinese government buyers purchased at least eight cargoes of US soybeans from Gulf Coast terminals and six cargoes from Pacific Northwest ports for October-November shipment. The 840,000-tonne purchase is among China's largest single-day buys this month following a restart of US soybean purchases in late June.
