‘No parent should lose a child.’ 10-year-old drowns at Center Hill Lake in DeKalb County

A 10-year-old boy drowned at Center Hill Lake in DeKalb County while swimming without a life jacket. DeKalb County Rescue Squad used sonar and a drone to locate him, and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. A sign at the lake notes 126 drownings there, with only two victims wearing life jackets.
