Death of missing woman found in Catawba County ruled a homicide
Robin Doyle, a 56-year-old woman reported missing in Catawba County, was found dead in a wooded area, and her death has been ruled a homicide. Leroy Looper, a 54-year-old registered sex offender with prior convictions for kidnapping and sexual offenses, was named a person of interest but has not been formally charged.
