Woman accused of operating unlicensed post-surgery recovery home out of residence

A Cutler Bay business owner, Sandra Elvira-Paez, was arrested for allegedly operating an unlicensed post-cosmetic surgery recovery facility from her home, providing care to patients without a Florida medical or massage license. Investigators found three post-operative patients and charged her with administering services, including anticoagulant injections, for $300–$450 per night. She was released without appearing before a judge.
