Susan Gehrke, a 61-year-old Arizona woman who had survived cancer twice, died after being attacked and punched by Dahseir Edward Jefferson, who was later charged with second-degree murder. Jefferson, with a prior violent criminal history, allegedly caused her fatal injuries during an incident at an apartment complex in Tucson.
